Description of Physcion
Physcion is an anthraquinone isolated from rheum officinale, and has antitumor and antifungal activity. Experiments have shown that it has a strong inhibitory effect on the growth of human cervical cancer Hela cells. Physcion has good systemic conduction, inhibits the formation of fungal hyphae, sputum and spores by interfering with the biosynthesis of chitin in the cell wall of pathogenic fungi, and blocking the spread of disease. It has low toxicity to humans and animals, is environmentally friendly, and is suitable for the production of green and organic vegetables as a pesticide.
