Gefitinib Introduction
Gefitinib is a highly specific anti-tumor targeted therapy drug and the first molecularly targeted drug for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer. It selectively inhibits epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase. (EGFR-TK) signaling pathway. Gefitinib inhibits tumor growth, metastasis and angiogenesis by blocking the EGFR signaling pathway on the cell surface, and can induce tumor cell apoptosis.
